whats up guys, I installed a b18C gsr engine (jdm gsr)....still running off my obd II computer, no check engine light or nething, If i bring it through inspection, when they plug it into the OBDII computer and check the data, will they be able to connect with this engine, or will it not show anything?...thanks guys

 

if your car is obd2, then no, i dont think you will make it through with an engine swap

 

even if theres no check engine light and the car runs fine?....will it fail beacuse of what engine it is or that it wont read the computer?...thanks

 

if your using a usdm computer you should be fine

 

yeah its the original computer out of my 2000 gsr motor i used to hvae, theres no conversion harness or nething still factory wiring.

 

well engine swaps are illegal in jersey, theoretically you could get away with it if the tech didnt know what they were doing, sorta like how i got away with HID's a few months ago cus the techs didnt realize i had them.
