hi. my turbo gets hots and is burning up the oem hood..
will a carbon fiber hood handle more heat?
im guessing a fiber glass hood would just be crappier?

 

Might want to check into a turbo blanket for it. This will keep the temps down under the hood and not burn your hood.

well most carbon fiber hoods have a fiberglass frame..

i would get a turbo blanket and go from there i run one and it helps out a lot.

I also have a turbo blanket.... T1 Racing sells them

 

Maybe check your tune seems like EGT's are kinda high to do all that. Didnt have a issue with my cast mani nor full ram with melting the hood
