I'm trying to remove the head, I was using the 15mm socket. Initially, it was hard to break it, then it felt like the bolt is stripped. Is 15mm the correct size for the cylinder head bolts? THanks

 

hondas are all 10/12/14/17/19.
although some rod bolt nuts are 13.

if you round off a head bolt... good luck.

If I recall correctly it's either a 6-point 14mm or a 12-point 14mm in later models. NOT 15mm.

hey guys i know this an old thread but don't feel the need to make a new one, so my question is... has anybody ever broke loose a head bolt with socket wrench? lol

i'v been just trying to do, i'm afraid that i round bolts... or break my arm lol
