Default Engine sometimes not redlining at 7200 rpm

I was wondering if anyone could figure out a problem for me. Sometimes when i try push my car to 7200 rpms, the engine seems like it is redlining at 5-6k rpms. I got the right ecu and engine. By the way, I drive a EJ1. So what could be the problem(s)?

I have a d16z6 engine. its not swapped or anything, just stock. plus, i don't have a check engine light on either. its like sometimes when i try to redline it to 7200, it hits 5-6k rpms and the same thing happens to me when i double clutch too. plus, i am pretty sure i have the right manual tranny.

Double clutching on a synchronized transmission?

and why are you trying to bounce it off of the rev limiter?

I'm having trouble with something...are you trying to redline ON or OFF the clutch? Is it a chipped ecu? Can you get it to do the problem consistently?

When we are talking the low improper redline, what is the hysteresis, fuel cut / resume period?
