Aight, well i got a Honda CRX 91 HF witha mugen like body kit on it. I need to jack the car up and i cant because its too low to the ground. Anyone got any ideas? How hard is it to take off the front bumper.. i dont really wanna do that tho cause im only 1 person, too much of a bitch. Help me out here!
not even the stock jack?
my car is dropped about 3" and I use the stock jack to fit my 2.5 ton jack under.. then life and place the stand underneath... if you cant fit the stock jack, I would assume that you cant even drive your car out of the driveway

i dont have a stock jack, i just moved here and im borrowin this stuff, i think this is a 2.5 ton jack.. hmm where can i get a stock jack?
If you kand find some 2x4's or 2x6's you can drive up on those. That may give you enough clearance to get the floor jack under there.
ummm...drive the car up on a 2"X 4" piece of wood...simple as that it shoudl give you enough room to get the jack under...or else use the stock jackto lift it up high enough to get the hydro jack under...try the wood if you dont have a stock jack tho
they sell stock jacks at pepboys or any other auto supply shop. well of course they wont be cuz they are not made by honda
i saw some last weekend

Get a helm's manual for the thermostat install. Its super easy. About your question with getting a jack under your car, I always have a friend lift up on the fenderwells enough to get the jack under the car.
EDIT: I just read your other post... definitely get a helm's manual. Do it now. It will save you a lot of headaches.

that's what i do
I do it without starting my car...just lay a 2x4 flat on the ground in front of both front tires. Now scoot the car back a bit, and get a friend to give a good shove.
When you feel the front tires pop up on the 2x4's (you WILL feel it) just yank the e-brake. Now your floor jack will fit.

So far i have not needed one, just need an online thing. I need to do this quick and i dont have any $ to buy one. im poor.
haha why you mess with oyur car if you don't have dollars to fix it, kragen has um for about 17 buxs man, you can't afford that? it works pretty well good enough to do the job.

I was not messing with my car, i accidentally dropped something in it. accidents happen, its nothing i could have fortold or anything.
The thermostat is pretty straight forward. Just trace your bottom radiator hose to the thermostat housing, open it up, throw away old thermostat, pop in new one, seal it up with rtv sealant, and youre straight. Add coolant and youre done.
