Any disadvantage to using type R spark plugs in a jdm gsr ?
I was trying to search for information on this topic because im sure someone has gone over it, but could not find anything definitive. I have a JDM b18c gsr and right now I am running platinum NGK G-Power and they are heat range 6. I want to go back to copper as I did not see any difference between the two and the copper is cheaper. I was wondering if I got the type R integra with the heat range of 7, BKR7E-11, if there are any positives or negatives to it compared to the BKR6E-11.
My current set up is 01 type R cams, I/H/E, intake manifold and TB. It is street tuned currently on crome pro.

all depends on how they are burning. a 6 or a 7 should work. in copper you might like the 6s but driving hard would work better on 7s. there's only .4 difference in compression between the gsr and itr from jdm world. i'm on the iridium 7s in a jdm itr and have a great burn pattern
Yea I was wondering because the jdm gsr has the same compression ratio as a US type R and also the fact im running 01 type R cams. Would either one be pretty smooth to run regardless ?
