Default Need some help picking out part for my build

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Ok I want to build for turbo but right now i dont have the money for it so im wanting to go jus n/a with atleast 200+ hp, but in the future im wanting to boost it so i need help picking parts.

Alright I have a bare Gsr head thats been PNP, and some crower valves springs and retainers, need help choosing some valves. Also i want some mid range piston like pr3 or p30s but I dont know if thats a good idea for boost later on.. someone help me decide and choose thank

Ohh i have 2 different blocks in mind on building, I have a b20b4 block right now in my car and im leaning more towards getting a gsr bottom end but lets hear some inputs

ive got a built b16 head with supertech valves, springs, an retainers, one fifty its yours, an pistons get low compression like low nines high eights, you wont run as much torque, but its there when your ready for boost, id find an ls with low miles, ls/vtec boosted, cheap an fun ")

Just leave the gsr stock and run it for now and then boost it later. stock gsr can handle some nice power but if you really want to build something then use the gsr block and get some cheaper srp pistons 81.5mm bore with mid to high 9 compression ratio with some type r cams or something a little wilder

ok sounds good., I was really wanting to do the gsr but yea imma try and keep it stock bore and see what numbers i pull. I guess imma jus use them piston u said and another question are supertech valves good to run?.. and should i get flat valves or standard?.

supertechs are good, thats what im currently running for valves in my head. i have flats which bump the compression a little but regualr are fine too. you really should go 81.5mm bore otherwise its going to be a very noisey engine
