Turbo Ls w/ stock internals
where should i start to build my motor? i know i need a lot of parts to fully build my motor, but where should i begin? what parts and brands should i select and what should i stay away from? any advice will help!!

Well it really depends on how crazy you want to go with your turbo. If your boost levels are low i.e 5 psi, stock internals should be fine. But......as your boost goes up your bottom end should be built accordingly. If you end up buying a large turbo i would suggest lowering your compression to 8:5:1. reinforced JE pistons, tougher rods (Crower, Eagle) and stainless valves. Look into either the Revhard or Fmax brand, they are quality kits. Try going to the FI section for further insights

I'd start off with a Nuformz Blockguard....and while the head is off get titanium Springs and Retainers.
