ap1 steering wheel in ej8 = no horn
I've searched and I can't an answer to why my horn doesn't work in my ej8 with an ap1 steering wheel. Do I need a new clock spring? I know the stock wheel, the horn plugs into a metal piece with a ground (if it is a ground) plugging into the other end. I deleted cruise control so I don't need that. And my SRS light isn't on. Just the horn doesn't work.
Any input is appreciated.

When I hooked mine AP1 wheel up, I hooked everything up (cruise, horn, airbag) and it all works.

at that step the horn worked (and works still) for me. notice the red wire that is a single wire running from the spine to the white horseshoe shaped piece with the black connector on it? Thats the horn wire. and thats how it should be hooked up. Is yours hooked up the same??

Do you need an s2000 clock spring to get the horn to work? Or will the stock civic clock spring work? Because my civic clock spring has a black wire for a horn.
edit - WOW I am RETARDED. I didn't see that little tab where the horn clip could connect to on the ap1 wheel. I'll try that. Thank you so much lol. I'm seriously blind.
