Help Getting Horn into Personal Wheel, and NRG Ground Question
Yes I've searched, yes I know there are a ton of topics on this but I haven't found anything that really focuses on this in particular or is clear about an answer.
Horn works if I connect the live wire and ground out the black wire on the upper metal frame of the horn. I can't figure out how to actually anchor the horn inside the hub/wheel though, and I don't even know if I need that metal ring or not.
I also don't know where I should actually have that black ground wire permanently, as it does need to have contact with something to remain grounded and actually work.
Pic is what I currently have to work with.

Don't know why you have two wires for the horn. I, too, have a Personal steering wheel but with a Luisi steering hub. As for that metal spacer in your hand...not sure what it's for.

Bumping as I'm still lost and need to get this working to pass inspection.
All threads I search either completely gloss over this part or the images have 404'd.

That ring is inserted into the hub right where you see, then the horn is pressed into that sleeve. The ring is basically a shim you can use instead of using the horn cover that generally comes with NRG wheels. Seeing as you have a Personal wheel, you wont have the horn cover.

What about that black ground wire though?

One last bump I'll do if anyone has any idea where that ground contact should go, since I only have one contact on the horn.
Starting to think I just need to get something like this: NRG Steering Wheel Center Horn Button Black (Red Honda 'H' Logo) | eBay

do you have a quick release?? do you know if the horn works? mine looks like yours as well but I cut a small wire and looped it thru the hole on the black ground wire then I wrapped around the metal bar thats on the back of the horn does that make sense?

It'll be nice once I'm done on the interior of this car. Lots to do.
