so just the other day my driver automatic seat thing stop going back when you close the door. why is this? i checked for fuses to see if i blew one, but didnt have a fuse for it. unless im looking in the wrong spot (kick panel by left leg side).
so i forced the thing back and it stayed, but when i opened the door it went back up front. if anyone knows how to fix this let me know

the fuse for the seat belt is under the hood in the fuse box labeled (passive motor) left or right. but if it was blown it would not work at all.
im not sure if its related but check that domelight switch in the jam, my guess would be it has to be connected otherwise how would the computer know the door is open. If you still can fix it from what everyone says acura will fix it for free because of the safetly issue.

American Acura/Honda has a policy of offering a lifetime warranty on the functional components of their seat belts.
As long as the vehicle IS an American-market car, has NOT been in a collision, and the belt assembly has NOT been modified, American Acura will fix it at their cost.
If the vehicle meets the above criteria and the dealer refuses to fix the belt, phone Acura Client Relations at (800) 382-2238.
Honda Canada does NOT have such a policy, so Canadian-market cars are not covered under any lifetime warranty.
