Hi guys,

Recently changed the clutch in my mates dc2r. Everything runs perfectly fine now except the speedometer and odometer aren't working at all!!!
I've checked all the fuses, tried turning the VSS by hand, checked it was bolted in right, checked all plugs, and am going to check the pins on the back of the VSS this weekend to see if they are getting current.

Does anyone know what the problem could be?

I've done a search and tried all the common fixes. One guy found that one of his wires got pinched when they bolted up the trans... could be this. Anyway I'll post an update once i check the pins.

That's weird. Have you tried using a different VSS?

 

Check the wiring for a break or short.

If its fine try a known good VSS.
