Default Ultimate Bondo & Gold Bondo & Aluminum Bondo?

I was at Checker today looking at materials to fill some dents in my EG... and when I looked at the Bondo I saw 4 different kinds. Which is the best stuff for my application? I want the best there is obviously.

Thanks

theres many u can go with... i stick with evercoat... their zgrip line is good.. their rage line is better.. their quantum1 line the best. InMyOpinion.... quantum1 has built in e-coat great for rust protection if you're applying on bare metal. and unlike the others.. this one can go on top of paint (just make sure u scuff it up with like 180 first)

After I make the repair would it be a good idea to spray over it with rattlecan primer/sealer? I plan on taking the car to a paint shop after the vehicle is prepped... What is a good method to prep the car after the bondo is applied?

x2 on Evercoat instead of Bondo. Rattlecan is better than nothing over the repair area, but if you can shoot a 2k primer. Since you're taking it to a shop, you could just rattlecan and they can sand it off before spraying a real primer. See the sticky in the P & B forum for info on prep, there is a very detailed description!

right here dude. just keep in mind you get what you pay for. I understand that you can get bondo for 12.99 or cheaper for a gallon but is it worth it? theres stuff out there thats way more expensive but this is a cheaper alternative to it. this is what alot of body shop guys use and it's been tried and true. just my 2 cents buddy.

Try looking up an auto paint store in your phonebook/online. Any reputable one will carry Evercoat filllers. I think I spent $16 or so for a quart of Rage Gold... not much at all. Spend it now, or spend it later and regret it!
