High beams come on instead of starting
OK so heres the story i bought a 1991 civic hatch and the car had a b16 in it and when my buddy got the car he put a d16a6 in the car and used the harness for the b16 and a d15 dizzy and had the car barley running well ended up with the car through the course of things and i put a d16 dizzy on the car and a interior and exterior harness from a 91 si to match the motor and i also put a pm6 ecu in it well everything is hooked up but when i go to start the car the high beams turn on instead of the car starting they will not come on by the switch though. i know it sound like a wiring issue but heres my problem i originally had power to the ecu and the fuel pump and all that and the car just wouldnt crank because the main relay was bad well i replaced the main relay but before i got a chance to start the car my other friend started switching things around and thats when this problem came up and he doesnt remember what he did of course so i didnt know if anyone has seen this problem or knew if it was possible for connectors to be switched or whatever just looking for ideas, suggestions anything at all thanks
happened to me last month. my mechanic was checking all my wires and he said there was low voltage going to my ingition and fuel pump. my car would only start and then choke and die. before this my car headlights would flicker and that was due to my eld. i bought a fuse box and took it to him. he switch it out and then he found 2 wires that were burnt underneath my steering wheel(i think). then my car started again. got my car back from him in 3 week because of that.
ok and where is the eld located and a possible description would help i have a spair fuse box but if i remember correctly i think the problem existed with the other fuse box as well
