Car will not start...
I got my car tuned about a couple months back with crome on 1000cc injectors. Now if my car sits for over 3 hours or overnight it fires right up on the first try but after driving it and shutting it off it will not start when I try it, lets say, 20 mins later. Everytime this happens I have to pop my hood and cut the power to the injectors by pulling the clip by the resister box, crank it until it starts and dies and then shove the clip back in while cranking again (if my girlfriend is with me! LOL). The car idles fine (surges some after coming to a stop but settles down) at 1k and drive normal. I heard that something in has to be messed with in crome for cranking fuel. What do I set these settings to?
sounds like an ecu/main relay problem. recently i had a customers car, which had a chipped ecu, it wouldnt kick the main relay on for the life of it. sometimes it would come one imidiately (after running the car) or sometimes it would be a pita to get it to click on.
The main relay clicks and the pump primes. Seems to be really rich and flooding it and thats why it starts for like 2 secs when there is no power going to the injectors like if it were burning the fuel already in there.

it sounds like something to do with ur ecu, I would actually talk to ur tuner and tell him your problem and hope he gives u a solution

It was actually doing it on the dyno and he couldn't fix it. He was the one that told me to just take the clip out when it happens. He couldn't figure out the crank fuel compensation on crome.

I've run into that on a Honda that wasn't on Crome, still haven't come up with a solution for it yet. Has fuel, has spark, will fire with starting fluid and then run fine but won't behave otherwise. Tweaks to ECT, cranking and post fuel tables did absolutely nothing.
You let me know what the problem is if you find a fix for it, and I'll let you know what the problem is if I find a fix for it. Deal?

Deal.
I'll play around with it tonight and see what I come up with.
