fixed backup light problem after swap
Since I got my car back from a nightmare swap I've been fixing quite a few problems and today I tackled my reverse lights.
I knew they worked before the swap so it took the last two days finding out why they stopped working.
It ended up being the green wire with black stripe at the engine harness not lining up.

I had a PM from another member that had this problem and I did a search to find more people with this problem but no solutions so this is what I wrote.
"I will assume you have a 88-91 civic 5 speed so its the round white connector on the drivers side.
one side is the engine harness and the other goes to the firewall and into the dash harness.
If you stand in front of your car with the hood open and look at your tranny you should see a green wire and a yellow wire these go to the backup switch on the transmission.
the yellow wire should have power when the key is turned on. then when ever you put the car in reverse it sends the 12-14 v dc through the green wire/black stripe to your reverse lights."
