Icon6 Check engine light ON....

Dam check engine light came on. That is the last thing i need right cut hours and now this..i'll wait and see what the verdict is in the afternoon. hopefully something small. anyone have 135,000k miles on there ride and have any minor or major issues?

IAC valve on mine at 120,000 just went out ( electronic sensor attached to the valve) get the engine code, probably way ahead of me-let me know the code-i got a list of em-

What was the hole point of posting this? There was no tech related issue!

You got CEL now what do you want us to do? We don't know what the problem with the car and you didn't even supply a code! So why make a useless thread for?

Light turned off in morning when getting out of work. So now i have no code to base it of off. i just was trying to see what trounle peeps have had at that much miles also...thanks.

Go to AutoZone and get a free test.They did one for me just last week and it only took 5mins.They'll give you a slip thats tells you everything that failed the test.It can be somwthing really small,for me it was my missing gas cap.

that doesnt mean there isnt a problem though. could still well be under history codes or pending. ecu waiting for the problem to trigger again to set the light. worse code u would want to avoid that i see very common at my dealership is a camshaft code. which mean chain stretch and if ignore you can probably destroy your engine.
