Well my new daily is a 1990 Integra LS. I got it for dirt cheap because the previous owner said it wouldn't start. Previous owner said he was driving it, went into work, came out and car would not start. Tow it home and start looking at it. Found some issues with it such as Negative Battery wire not even connected to terminal, starter missing bolts, distributor plugs not plugged in.

Took the starter to autozone had it tested came back bad, not a big deal cause I had an extra starter laying around that worked. Just to be safe took it to autozone and had it tested...Pass. Come home and put the starter on the car, put new terminals on both the positive and negative, plugged in dizzy.

Turn key over and can hear fuel pump prime so I figure its good to go and try firing it up. All I get is a *click* *click* when I attempt to turn it over.

Any ideas?

 

I would check the battery, fuses and grounds.

 

Battery was tested and charged at autozone last night....I have full lights and horn

Going to check fuses in the morning when I get my pliers back, will check all grounds then too

 

try to push start it, if it push starts its a ground or another shitty *** starter.

 

when u hear that click noise its normally two thing somewhere u not getting good ground or your started when out.. if u havent done anything to your car like race it or change something. then most likely it just the starter

 

Starter came off my 94 GSR and never had an issue with it, was also tested last night just to be extra safe and it tested good. I am thinking ground issue

 

check the wires that lead up to the battery or harness wherever they go for any deformities as well... good luck

 

ground to tranny? ground to block?

i have grounds on those in my DC4

 

New battery in, fully charged, no blown fuses....Click!! Grrr!!!

 

have u check it those are lose or maybe one of them is lossen u should check all the ground and move them yourself and make sure they dont move

 

Yeah checked grounds, even ran new one from negative terminal directly to starter and nothing

 

**** it car is now for sale, do not have time nor patience to figure this ****ing thing out
