Question about CAT converter

My car has no test pipe or cat converter it's a straight piece of pipe the whole way back, Would u notice smoke more? with a cat or without? Its a GSR motor.

I think you would notice more smoke without a cat converter and vice a versa. Unless of course your burning oil, or have a blown headgasket.
