Default JDM Motors. Do you know which one is?

Ok, the net doesn't provide any good info on this.

A US B18C5 motor, in Japan goes by B18C or B18C3

What about the US GS-R motor B18C1? What is that in Japan?

Looks like a Type R to me....make sure it says B18C and not B16B (CTR).
Also have your friend look for the LSD stamp.

JDM SiR-G (US GSR) will also have the dual runner intake manifold, but as far as JDM ITR and JDM SiR-G blocks go, i think the only way you would be able to tell is opening them up and taking a look at the pistons

thats is a ITR (or b16) manifold
eithre way its NOT a gsr motor.

I sold that Sir-g awhile back.
Believe me Kamin, i come across all sorts of motors. Sometimes, the manifolds and tranny's are changed out. I have so much to think about. Juggaling a family, swap for mommy's car, and sellin parts. So you guys gotta bear w/ me if i'm absent minded.

if it's a CTR motor shouldn't the driver side mount be different? isn't that a integra mount or eg drivers side mount?

remember, distributors tend to swap out parts on the motor. If I can look at it up closer than I would be able to indentify it. the CTR tranny has SC4 on it.
