I dont know what is up with the engine but it wont let me go past 3000 rpm. When I go past 3000 RPM, the car wont go anymore even when I had the peddle down the car still wont go and I go into 2nd gear the car will still go but only to 2000 RPM. I really need help. Need the car to be driven.

How does the engine sound? Can you rev the engine past 3000 rpms in neutral?

 

was any work recently done. check and make sure the map and the tpe plugs werent reversed

There isn't any check light engine if that is what you mean.

 

I have same problem but it dont wana go past 6k and bloggs no cel. on hondata S300. car is power less 90% of time, tired of changing stuff still dont wana run right. ....

the engine sound normal when i start it up but when the engine start to warm up then it sound like harley davidson and yes i can rev it past 3000 rpm in neutral. only when i am in gear. in gear 1 i can only go to 3000rpm and in 2 gear only 2000rpm

 

thanks to all who try to help me out i appreciate it alot.. but i have solde the problem it was the tps it was broken so i replace it and it work.

Had this problem for weeks replaced distributor and put a ground wire from battery to chasis problem solved.
