Default problem after DIY clean throttle body.

i got a idle prob after cleaned my throttle body. before clean, RPM is ok around 850~900 either AC is on or not. then after cleaned throttle body the RPM jump high to 1.5k (AC OFF) if is AC ON RPM goings down to 1.3k. my question is do i need to retune back my ECU? what i can do now is juz retard the distributor to reduce the idle RPM.. sorry for bad english... my engine is b16a, JDM. use P08 ECU single cam VTEC rechip.. if i use my standard p30 ECU idle is really bad, hunting...(not stable)

2 things, you have to use electrical safe carb cleaner or you may mess up the sensor or you may have an air leak. Check the gasket to make sure there are no tears in it.

You likely cleaned out the gunk and carbon exposing an air leak or you damaged a sensor in the cleaning process. Did you clean it with the TB on the car or did you take it off?

A 70mm throttle body is over kill on even most N/A built motors. With your car being an auto, I wouldn't even bother doing any thing to it in hopes of performance gains.
