UPDATE: CAR FOUND, recieved a call at 6am tuesday morning from OAKLAND PD (wtf?) the was was still intact, but the theives took 3 ipods, 1 psp, a vintage expensive camera, a brand new monitor, just some easy carrable stuff and also the CDM Cluster....

Holy crap someone stole it while you were in the mall? Damn thats just horrible, upsetting, and depressing at the same time. Hope your friend gets the car back in one solid piece, or at least insurance takes care of your friend.

 

I'm so sick of this sh*t. Did you guys ask the mall's security if they have cameras in the parking lot? Go over the footage if you can.

That sucks live around the area too and i'm worried for my car. Its in the shop now but it will be up in the area soon. Got my last integ I had stolen in the SF area lucky i got it back.

So you didn't speak with mall security? You should really ask to check their camera footage. Almost all malls have parking lot cameras.

They do, but they told me that the camera rotates so it was there then the next rotation it's gone....

Did you have any "layers" of protection? For starters....fuel pump cut off, main relay cut off, take out ecu, take out distributor............plus your secondary layers...club....autolock.......

This is just "daytime" security if I have to leave the car. Let them have to tow my **** if they really want it.

At night.....safe in the garage...

Hope you get the car back. My DA was stolen in Union City while I was getting money at an ATM during the afternoon.....I know the feeling you must be having. That was like 5 years ago.

 

i told that idiot to get an alarm... but i guess he never got it, also he did have a autolock but he didnt put it on...... me on the other hand... have 2 much step security to lock my car, i get lazy sometimes but ... not anymore... haha

unless the theives wanna strip a stock single cam sedan, its just a matter of time until cops find the car.... waiting for that phone call....

Yea, I got back the car. Luckily everything was intact, the thief only stole my Acura EL cluster, my SLR camera, PSP, and my friend's monitor, that he bought that day *ironic yes*.... My backpack and my books were still there. Dude also left a finished Coca Cola can in my ****ing cup holder, so that will go to the police. Learned my lesson, time for better security measures.... But, I seriously want that SLR back though of all things.

Also, I did put on that damn autolock... >.< And for some odd reason, chances they broke my ignition? Weird but when the guy drove my car out the impound lot, I got in and my knee knocked my remote and the key slid out the ignition... The car was still on while the key was on the floor. I put it back in restart the car and now it's back to normal....
