Default Turbo size help

A friend of mine has an eg si and was going to boost the SOHC but bought a b16 and now wants to boost that. People are telling him the t3 turbo he has is too small for the b16, is this true? Also how much do the turbo exhaust manifolds cost for a b16?

Vague, vague, and more vague. we first need to know which T3 turbo that he has, as it could mean that is the turbine housing, or the entire turbo. Knowing his power needs/goals, as well as what he has currently is the only way we can even remotely help. Without that info, there's nothing that anyone here can advise.

turbo exhaust manifolds can range from $220 for the cast manifolds, to over $1400 for top mounts. again, you need to be more specific in budget, and what he's looking for. Account for the downpipe to be matched to said turbo manifold.

It could be too small or too big... T3 is a VERY broad range.

Find out some specs and check back in.
