Valve cover vent where to weld plugs on Rear
I've seen quite a few threads with the PCV discussion and with vented valve covers and im going to run a custom setup. I want to run my lines to the rear of the valve cover. so my question is, is there a desired spot to weld -12AN fittings on the back? I plan on doing it somewhere behind the baffle but is there a preferred location you guys use to reduce the possibility of any oil coming out if any. Also the vented catch can wont have a drain back so it will vent and i plan on keep the black box but take the pcv out and put 2 3/4(-12) Barbs in there and run those up to the bottom of the catch can which will allow it to vent and if there is oil it will drain back hopefully without issues. If this does not work ill get the prelude plugs but for now id like your guys feedback
Thanks
Thanks
The baffle runs all the way across, but doesn't go down the side of the cover in the rear. With a -12 you have just enough room to weld it above the baffle and that about the best you can do. I have one -12 off the back of my valve where the stock fitting was and two -8 lines draining to the galley plugs.
