boost ls, new cluch and flywheels questions
i have a bone stock ls , its my daily and im boosting it this winter, i also figured i should go ahead and upgrade the clutch and possibly the flywheel, but i wanted to find out first if anyone of yall out there have maybe already done this or experimented with light weight flywheels on stock cars, my concern or question is if i upgrade the flywheel and clutch will i need to get my crank rebalanced or should i be able to just slap it on and be ok, ur input is very much apreciated , thank u
unless your looking for that little extra edge you shouldnt have to have the crank rebalanced with the lighter flywheel. We at Bisimoto Engineering offer a 11.5 lb flywheel that we feel is the perfect weight for your motor. Our flywheels have a heat treated friction plate that never needs to be replaced or resurfaced and we even offer a 1 million mile warranty on the flywheel.
