j/w if i unplug the battery... will the alarm reset??? (do i have to put any code.. ect...)

lol... not stealing.. just bought a 99 civic ex at the auction. it came with an stock alarm.. the ignition cover is fcked up... just thinking to disconnect the battery.... j/w if the alarm going to reset???

Not 100% but I thought the only way to reset the alarm was to remove the stock stereo. Either way, the dealership should give you whatever codes you need as long as you have the VIN and Title in your name with proper ID.

 

The dealer add on alarm is disabled by using your keyless entry fob. Otherwise, turn on the key and press the disarm button. It's usually right on the knee bolster.
