Help! Bolt Stripped!
The bolt is stripped on my timing belt tensoner, and i need some way to get it off because my timing belt is way too tight. What would be the best way to get it off?
EDIT: I forgot to mention that i have a B18.

if u have a set of vise grip pliers u can clamp them on and prolly break it free. u can get a flat head screwdiver pound a little nocth into it, then smack it counterclock wise. or u may need to pick up something like this.. http://www.sears.com/shc/s/p_10153_1...0070921x00003j u should be able to find a set at a local auto parts store
ok the head on your bolt is rounded right? then use what was suggested above. get your self a bolt out kit. they work wonders. just make sure that you have another bolt to replace the one your taking out handy.

just pay the extra 10 bucks and get the kit that has twice as many sizes, its like 20-35 bucks for the larger set. you will use it more then once if u have a crx/ef haha.
the same thing happened to my tensioner, i used this. and it worked fine
