Reason for excessive negative camber
Hi there I have a 99 em1 on some PIC coilovers. They're dropped pretty low tucking a little. I'm having a problem aligning my car, well my left rear camber is way off..pointing in like -2.3 or something. I feel bad for my tire and want to fix this issue. I swapped out the lca( just the bar, not the whole arm assemebly) would it be that arm that's causing that or something else. I had gotten into a little accident a while ago and have been working to get it back. Any help?? Thanks
-2.3 isnt excessive for your car.
you mention you replaced the lca but not the "bar" just the "arm" ummmmm what?? maybe you meant you replaced the uca in the rear since it is drastically smaller than your lca?? and if so then yes the uca most likely could be the bad guy in your case.

Your rear trailing arm could be warped from the accident. LCA's will not do anything with camber. Try using a camber kit or longerbolts & washers to adjust camber.
When you lower a car the suspension is thrown off, thus needing an alignment. You can only adjust so much with stock parts. You can adjust toe, but you can only do so much to fix camber in the rear.
Besides camber is your bestfriend, Also egezzy states -2.3 isnt excessive. Thats true -3 / -4 is on a street car. -2.3 isnt bad at all imo.
