Default will a p72 ecu run a LS motor?

In the near future i will be swapping a b18b in my 94 gsr, my question is, do i need a new ecu, or will my old one work?

also since i already created this thread, im gonna ask a question that im sure has been answered before.

what is needed to get a b20 to function in a OBD1 car? do i need the whole wiring harness?

Default Re: will a p72 ecu run a LS motor?

yes the p72 will run the ls, but not the best since it is a vtec ecu not to mention hthe gsr has butterflies.

b20 should run fine in an obd1 car. just use the harness from the current car that the b20 is going to go in. you are gonna need ot change all the plugs to obd1 (alternator and distributor)
