head gasket
my car i turboed and i was driving and it started whistling from the side of the motor and now there is white smoke coming from the exhaust. is it a head gasket? could i be sumthin else? how much to fix myself and would it be hard to learn to do it myself. whats the best thing to do now to proceed driving my car the cheapest way. any help would be great thanks.

At the very least, the head will require removing and the gasket replaced.
I suspect that you may have a warped head (from a previous overheat) and that's whats predicated this failure.
If you elect to repair this, I would suggest having the head checked for warpage. It makes no sense to reassemble everything just to have it happen again.
P
and if your doing a head gasket.....on top of gettin the head checked you should also do: timing belt and tensioner, valve cover gaskets, water pump, and P/s and A/c belts(if their on there) and I/M gaskets(upper and lower)
