Wrap air filter and distributor with plastic bags. Pull spark plug wires off plugs, stick rags in the plug tubes.

Apply two cans of the Gel degreaser;

This will take any oil/grime off.

Dry the engine bay as much as you can.

Apply this liberally;

Spray it on plastic, metal, under the hood, on the engine/transmission.... basically COVER every surface of the engine bay. No wiping down, no rinsing. Makes metal/painted surfaces glossy, and hoses/plastic shiny.

I do this every other weekend... since I have no fender liners, the engine bay gets pretty dirty from daily driving... after this, the engine bay comes out sooo nice.
