Default corner balancing your car.

I just tried to Balance my car the best I could today (I’ve never done it before)

Now I tried to get Left front and Right Front as close as possible but in doing that it made my rear LH and RH off.

Do you this matter? I could keep messing with it. Just thought I would ask. Here are my numbers

LF 717 LBS RF 718

LR 438 RR 320

That about 65.5% front 35.5% rear.

The other thing is the car is sitting nicely right now aswell.

any advice or tips on what has worked for you would be great.

Later justin

i would thing the rear is important. as load travels back diff wight can make the car twist. assuming u were sitting inthe car your *** was making the LR heavy loose some weight, lol

yes I was sitting in the car. but I think I made alot progress when I started the car weighed
LF 794 RF 627

LR 352 RR 406

so you see the Lr gets weight added to it as the FR gets weight added.

Not like you would think. If it were RWD, then yes, it would be more important....

What Shawn said is correct.

If u got the sam springs in the rear & diff weight one will squat more thus changing the angle of the car. I know whaT your sayin about the rwd when u see them twist our bug had that problem & we just fixed that

Again.... on a FWD car it's not that important. If your suspension is doing it's job, both dampening and rebounding properly, it's not that big of a deal. A unibody car doesn't flex like a v8 domestic....

Having the correct suspension in the car is a big factor. If you have control over the rebound and dampening it makes it alot easier to counter act the way the chassis moves upon the initial hit and shifts when there is different weights in the back.

Find a chassis setup guy and have them go over the car with you. Set ride height, corner balance, align and then test with you to get the car to do what it is supposed to do.

cool thanks for the helps guys

my suspension is pritty good.
I run full race traction bars 550LBS spring in the front and 1000LBs on the rear and I run ground control advance designs shocks. They have full rebound and dampenning I am running them full stiff all around.
( Idon't know if that's the right thing to do or not)

as for chassis setup guy I am at least 500 mile from anyone that can help me, so it's looks like it's just me and couple of my road race dubddies and whatever info I can get from you guys.

thanks every bit of feed back helps.

LF_ 717 RF_ 691

LR_ 352 RR_ 406

You would rase up the DRIVER'S ride hight to put weight on the pass' front???

Its a why of doing it

If im wrong correct me,.. My knowledge coming from a 7yr NMCA an NMRA winner, an chassis builder ~ Lance Munden

Yes the rear matters. And what is even more important is your diagnol %. Bet you anything that your car will go straighter with the diagnol at 50%. Then with the front at 50%

70-30 seems to work very well. Anything over 75% front starts getting real light in the rear when the chutes come out.
