first of all, (vtech) is a phone.

Second of all, try checking your grounds. Are you getting a check engine light? you must be.. What is it?

There is lots of things it could be :

-bad ground to vtec pressure switch
-coolant temp sensor
-wrong ecu
-oil pressure, which wouldn't throw a code, is the oil full?
-Dents in oil pan, again with oil pressure
-vtec solenoid screen gets dirty

It will not work unless the car is warmed up to operating temperature. I'm not sure why people try to rag on their cars cold but they do.

I'm not sure what a p1259 is, I guess look it up? I only know of the p13 but that's obd1.

If the car isn't reaching operating temp properly your coolant sensor could be bad, that might not throw a code, and would definitely not allow vtec to work.

Does it work?

p 1259 is ground fault on vtech solinoin
open fault on pressure switch
oil blockage
and something else jus dont make sense cuz all that is good think the car being cold woul shoot a code like that

hey listen i went to the mechanice and this was the souloution , 1 wire from the pressure switch wasnt connected to the ecu, which is also the reason to why my rpm guage wasnt working so in conclusion if your rpm guage and your vtec aint working i would check the blue and black wire from the pressure switch to the ecu it prolly aint connected propperly G00D LUCK

ok , what if i have vtech till 6500 and hit the rev limit and I got A [ressure switch now and wired the black and green wire to ecu and black to body of car and still only 6500. And don't through codes till i am hitting vtech real hard . so wtf ?????? it was at good temp , But vtech will still hit at anytime ( ONLY TILL 6500 )??????
