door sensor problem

Default door sensor problem

on my 93 honda accord the door sensor on the pass. door doesn't recognize that the door is closed so i switched the sensor from the driver door and same thing happened. im getting sick of the light on my dash and i have to turn off the celing light because it stays lit. any suggestion on whats the problem???

Automatic seatbelts? I think there is a switch in the latch. I'm thinking off the top of my head so I could be wrong.

no it does not have auto seatbelt. its a 93 honda accord

Sounds like you have a problem. I am not at work and don't have ETM's at home. I am thinking there may be a latch switch in the door latch. That would explain why your door switch swap had no positive results.

where would this latch switch be? inside the door panel? or on the side? any pics? i would appreciate it!
