b16j1 case wont open all of the way...

Default b16j1 case wont open all of the way...

I took all of the necessary bolts off obviously, released the C-clamp and pried it open to about an inch and thats as far as it will go, I tried tapping the top of the case to loosen the isb bearings but still no luck...

so the gear pack didnt drop when you spread the c clamp?

if the c clamp is still in the bearing, open it then have somebody go with a pry bar to split the case but dont pry hard just gently and wiggle back and forth
