Does anyone work at a Acura Dealership?? Radio Code
Sup Honda-tech,
Well i have this problem on my 00 teg, my radio is locked because my car battery was unplugged. I bought the car used and do not have the anti-theft code, or know what dealer he bought the car from. Its been two years, and lost his contacts. I have tried looking around the glove compartment, center consol etc, but there is not codes. I called Acura and they told me to bring the car in and they will give me the code, for $150.00....
So if you work at Acura and dont mind helping me out, i can give you the serial and VIN through a PM.
Thanks!

the sticker might be under your ash tray, in the glove box or in the owner's manual.
edit: the important thing is to write your code down after you get it.
just call an acura dealership in another city. i used to call cerrano in california. last time i called some dealer in denver. just get on the blower and call service departments until you find one that will give it to you over the phone. you need to get the number off your radio though. sometimes you can read it by laying in the passenger seat floor. sometimes you have to pull the unit.

Some owners write it in their owners manual. Look in the index under 'R' as in radio. It might be written in the index. Or on the instruction page for entering the radio code.
It will be 5 numbers and no letters.
good luck.

Go to a Best Buy, I used to work for Circuit City I can unlock Delco radio, in a GM, so im sure they have it on file oh how to unlock your radio, its a code only for your radio so someone else with your radio wont have the same code as you. This is how you unlock a Delco radio might be the same never know.
DELCO THEFTLOCK RADIO UNLOCK CODE:
1. Press and hold presets 2 and 3 for about 5 to 10 seconds until you
get 3 digits on your display. This is the first 3 of 6 digits you will
need, so write 'em down.
2. After doing step one and writing down the code, immediately press
the
AM/FM button to get the last 3 of the 6 numbers you'll need, and write
'em down. (if you wait too long between steps 1 and 2 and the LOC code
displays again, just start over).
3. Call this number, it's a prerecorded message, so don't worry about
having to talk to anyone...1-800-537-5140. The voice will ask if
you're calling for Chevy, Pontiac, Cadillac, etc...
When you here him tell you
to press "2" for Pontiac, press 206010 and hit the # key. He'll ask
you
for the 6 digit code that you've written down. Enter that and press
the
* key. He will then give you a code, and the option to get additional
4 digit codes, but one should be sufficient.
4. Follow the normal procedure in your owners manual for unlocking the
radio with your new code...press the hour set button on your radio
until
you get the first two numbers of the code, then press the minute set
button until you've entered the last two numbers. Immediately press
the
AM/FM button once the correct code is entered and the code SEC or
"secured" will be displayed on the display screen. Now, just turn the
radio on, and your ready to roll.
