Default Welp... my radio gives an "Err 3" code.

My battery got disconnected and I tried to enter in the radio code but I couldn't get it right. Tried 3 times and now it reads "Err 3." Anyone know how to fix this? Thanks.

Either that or you'll have to take it to a Honda/Acura dealer.
Hopefully the 1 hr wait will do it.

not exactly sure, but you can only enter the code certain amount of times before it locks - theft prevention or something.. call acura - see what they say

Yo man. This has happened to me so many times. Disconnect the battery and pump the brake until it you feel it tighten up. Wait few seconds, connect the battery again. Then put the key in the ignition and put it to accessory. You will be given a chance to enter the code again. Once again, you will get 3 attempts for error 3 comes up. To put the code in correctly, push the number of the corresponding code number. For instance...My code is 1555. So, I would push the 1 button once, then push the 5 button 4 times in a row. Thats how you do it. I couldnt figure it out for the longest time and it got annoying. There is no need to call Acura or anything else unless you got the code itself. Otherwise, this will work fine. Good luck!

people come into my dealer all the time with this problem. all i do is disonnect the positive and negative terminals on the battery. touche the two cable together for about 10-15second. reconnect it and punch in the code. that should work.

This sounds odd, what the heck do the brakes have to do with the electrical system!?
