what are the numbers on the rods mean?
I have 2 sets of rods, both from a b18a/b ls motor. one set says pr4 .18 and other one says pr4 .11. what does the .18 and .11 means? the clearance?
maybe its a casting thing like a pr3 head...like they have pr3-1,2,3 or 4
i have a couple type r rods some have 7 on them and some have 10

they'll usually have a manufacturing stamp that states the year/month/factory(for example) that it was made. For example if they catch that pr4 .11 had any defects they can trace it back and recall that batch.
Not sure if that's the case for those specific #s. If it's casted on then it could be what I said. There are also numbers/ letters that are stamped the rods, crank and block that relates to bearing sizes.
