Default Disminishing MPG after...

Well for some reason my MPG is becoming less and less. All this after i installed my DC 4-1 header and SRI.

Would this have anything to do with it? Also ive noticed a little power loss for some reason. At first my car would rip when i throttled it(yes its a D-series, u know what i mean). And now it feels like my dads nonvtec hatch.

All this on a 95 ej1 with a d16.

when you can get more air into the engine, the computer puts more fuel to keep the AFR steady. that is what calls for your loss of mpg

idk what is happening with your power loss any CELs?

Slap back on the stock airbox and see if it is indeed the intake? If it is... sell it and get a CAI.

i have a CAI. But since it was gay as far as throttle response. And it was a 2 piece i removed 1 piece and left it a SRI. I doubt its that though cuz like i said all past week my car was rippin.. now its slow and weird. Sometimes it feels normal. Others it feels more torqueless than what a D already is. As if i was draging something.

Maybe.. when i installed my DC header and removed the o2. I noticed that 1 or 2 wires looked as if they are almost gonna rip. Right from the base of the o2. i believe the wires were black. Might have been 1white and 1 black. I cant recall.

o2 sensors are really sensitive.. i know the black wires are for the heaters or ground cant remeber.. i would swap that with a known good one or just buy a new one.. if your o2 is bad or getting there it will make mixed signals to your ecu ..throwing things off

if your o2 broke you would have gotten a CEL, but out of curosity change it out, then reset the ecu

How are we supposed to answer this? There are way too many variables. You don't even have numbers to support your observations.
