Default Different H22A's

I got a H22A from a JDM 95 Accord SIR and I was wondering why the horsepower is rated at 190 rather then 200 like the h22a's from the prelude? Is it the motor itself or is it due to the intake and exhaust difference between the lude and accords?

No the SiR-T's did. The SiR motor has a lower CR than the Lude model.

hmm well the 4th gen lude VTEC made 190 hp too, so im guessing they both use the same EXACT motor(not sure about the EXACT engine code but its just probably H22A or H22A1). the H22A4 which is found in the 97+ ludes made 200hp, and that gen prelude came out 2 years after the 95 SiR accord.

accord sir = f20b auto
accord sir-t = f20b manual
jdm prelude = h22a 197hp
usdm prelude = h22a1 190hp, h22a4 197hp

accord sir = f20b auto
accord sir-t = f20b manual
jdm prelude = h22a 197hp
usdm prelude = h22a1 190hp, h22a4 197hp
Actually, the 5G SiR's had the H22A.

Still no one has answered the question though. At accord wagon club it shows charts and it shows that it has the same CR but still there is a horse power difference. http://www.accordwagonclub.com/comparison.htm

you did not answer it. I do have a JDM 95 h22a. But it is from a accord SIR. It is an H22A but has 10 less hp. Explain that. Im not talking about USDM vs JDM.

this is why i think all those charts are just bullshit... i mean, how do you know for certain that yer motor came from that car. how do i know for certain mine came from a bb1 prelude? well i know cus i saw the front clip. ANYWAY i just think an h22a is an h22a. the only way to know if you really have 10 less hp is to strap it on a dyno and see what your putting down. then compare that to the time of a car similarly modded that is from a prelude.

IMO the only ones that are different are the ones from accord EURO R/ prelude TYPE S, accord TYPE R... to me, the rest are just h22a's...

not trying to be a 8====> but this aggravates me just as much as it does you.
