yeah,if you use an H23A1 (USDM) block(not H23A) w/ an H22A1/H22A4/H22A head it's a frankenstein motor, but this was a rare factory motor from the 99 japanese accord SiR wagon...pretty expensive, streetimports sells them on ebay sometimes....this motor was only available w/ an auotmatic tranny.

Yeah, but all the ones that I've seen come with red valve covers and a Euro R manifold for the head. The 2.0L destroked Accord SiR F20 motors (look like the one in the picture) comes with the blue valve covers.

F20B (looks just like the H23A)

the H23A comes w/ a blue valve cover,as does the F20B....but the H22A-type S as you said does come w/ a red valve cover

i WISH the h23a had 250hp, or even 225hp. it came from the Accord SiR Sportier Wagon. the chassis code is GH-CH9 and it motor only came with an auto transmission. Here are the real specs:

horsepower: 197hp@6800
torque: 163ft/lbs@5300

basically a factory built frankenstein. even has the same bore and stroke as the usdm h23a1 block. it would be nice to have to get people wondering though

..and i know that those specs are correct. searching through countless .de, .ru, and .jp sites and converting from nm and kw to ft/lbs and hp has yielded me all the proof that i need

the h22a type s and euro r and h22a7 have 220hp along with the k20a from the jdm itr with 220hp.

but bang for buck, the h and b series have the most to offer the majority of swap enthusiasts.
