Default Squishy Brake Pedal

What would cause this?

Brakes WORK but when you're sitting at a light you can feel the pedal get squishy and you have to push it to the floor eventually ....

I'm thinking brake master cylinder?

Can someone help us out.
My 92 Accord Lx does the same thing. I want to know why it does that too.

I did do one thing wrong. When I was bleeding my brakes I pushed the pedal all the way down. The theory is that it never goes all the way down in normal use. So I may have messed up the seals on the master cylinder. IDK

squishy? Your having a brake fluid leak. Either externally (visible fluid that you can see outside of the brake system) or internaly (internal seals in the Master cylinder)

Be sure to bench bleed the master cylinder until all of the bubbles are gone, otherwise the pedal will still feel spongy.
