Get a better muffler or add a resonator.

so are you looking for another header or looking for an aftermarket exhaust that sounds like stock?

I think you have assigned blame to the wrong component. I will agree that an exhaust manifold can change the tone of the exhaust, but your muffling ability is all in the catalytic converter, any resonators, and the muffler.

I would look into a better chambered muffler if noise is a concern. Do not get a straight-thru unit.

Why do you need CARB legal? You are in Maryland...(CARB = California Air Research Board, they only have authority in CA)

If you want a decent header that looks stock, get a JDM 4-1 with the heat shields. These make good power for the money, and you can pass visual inspection (if that is your concern).

You will make most of your power via the header. I think adding another resonator to your exhaust system should tone it down a bit. With a WS2 you shouldn't be making much noise as it is...can you take a video of your car running so we can see what your perception of loud is? Loud is a fairly subjective term.

Everyone loves my set up cuz it's really deep throaty and sounds way nicer than the G35's...JDM Spec 4-1 Header 2.5in collector, 2.5in Test Pipe, complete APEXi WS2 exhaust....

Amen brotha my car is hella quieter with the WS2 my cousins GSR is a bit louder than my already quiet WS2 and his setup is Skunk 2 Header, 2.5in testpipe, and Type R RSR exhaust...

like i said....
you can not hear the worldsport2 exhaust unless he has an exhaust leak. my setup is probably the same megan racing header with test pipe. at 4000rpm on the highway i can hear engine more then the exhaust.

if he has some stiff aftermarket mounts, hes probably just hearing that instead
