I too did the 2.25 full exhaust w/stock cat with a magnaflow muffler and a DC 421 header. It was way loud.

I took it to my local shop and had an 18" put on it. It was so quiet I had him remove it and put on a 12" one.

I added a monza exhaust tip and I really like the tones now. But it was not bad without the tip.

Was it much louder with headers ?a little bit ? Was it to the point that your attracting cops attention ?because I'm decided to get headers but I don't want to attract jobs or should I get short headers

It makes your car quieter, not louder. It also usually makes the sound lower, as in deeper, bassier.

No it helps keep cops off your back, trust me I have a full 3in and with a resonator I would not get as many tickets. Oh and your car will magically stop sounding like ***.

This thread is in the wrong location, isn't even remotely heading to the tech aspect of resonance (Helmzholt anyone?), and is missing car information.

And this question was easily answerable with a quick Google search as was demonstrated in one of the replies.

Thread closed as this would not go well in GDD and that's really the only place for it as it stands now.

OP please utilize Google if you need more information on resonator aspects and details.
