Default Car Wont Start

2002 Civic Si
Race car wont start now. It just cranks over but not shooting any fuel out of the injectors. Fuel pump kicks on so i dont know what it could be. Checked all the fuses so i wasnt sure if theres a relay or sumthing that supplies power to the harness or injectors?? Any input would be appreciated. Thanx

One half of the main relay powers the fuel pump, the other half the injectors. (The ECU grounds the injectors to trigger them) If the injectors weren't getting power though, the ECU should throw a code. I would suspect the ECU isn't getting a signal to trigger the injectors. Not familiar with late models, but on the '90 I had I think the signal came from the distributor/TDC sensor.

So i just scanned the car and the only code im getting is a P1607 which is sumthing electrical and im hoping its not the ecu. I am getting fuel to the fuel rail but i dont think im getting anything to the injectors or plugs. Ill be pissed if the rain ruined it. I usually always keep the car in the garage but i had alot of stuff in the way last week so left it on the trailer. Anyone ever have this code?

i just realized my little green green isnt flashing anymore. When is it suppose to flash? Also noticed that the plug that goes into my switch, nearest the key has a little circuit board and my cover is off exposing it, wonder if that got damaged from sitting in the rain?

can you believe my car is still under warranty til october of next year. LOL ECU is covered but dude said it would be 50/50 if the tech would pass it since id have to bring the car in. I told him the engine and ecu are still stock but i use the car as a race car. I didnt want to bust my butt to try to load the car and tow it there and they refuse me so i FINALLY found an ecu on ebay for 80 bux, sux tho that they are in CA and charging me 60 bux to overnite it. im gonna CRY if its not the ecu and sumthin else. Oh and get this, I called the nearest dealer and he told me it would cost 100 to immobolize my new ecu, talked to another dealer further away and he told me 40.. .WTF??? Ill def. be taking the ecu to them instead.

i dont have a regulator or gauge, the ecu must not be putting out any signal to the engine, injectors plugs ect. My green key doesnt even flash either. cars just cranks over thats it

so its been a few days since ive been on bc ive been busy tryin to get this car running. Anyhow i found an ecu here in PA but was over 2 hours but i wanted it that day which was thursday so i drove all the way there and back. Then when i go to take the ecu and key to honda that nite they tell me i needed WHOLE car Wish i would have known that or they could have told me that on the phone. So now it was down to the last day, same day as racing, last nite. I luckily have a small hill across my street where i parked my trailer and pushed my car enough to drift it on the trailer and tow it down to Honda. Dude plugs his machine in to sync the new key but hes getting an error saying theres a shortage in the harness....... So then he tries my old ecu to see what he gets out of the that and its the same thing and he cant do nothing til i fix that. With only a few hours b4 i had to be at the track im messing with everything in the switch and plugs that connect to it. Took a wire and started jumping all the holes in the plugs, seen the key flash a few times, blew some fuses, cleaned the little circuit board off by the switch since it was exposed and then threw my old ecu back in for sh*ts n giggles. It was like god was looking down on me and the car fired right up :wow: Wierd this is that the immoblizer key doesnt flash and now my obd2 scanner plug doesnt work or send a signal so i couldnt check any codes either. I was just glad that it was running. So now i have an ecu i dont need and will be reselling it. Thanx for everyones help and support.
