my car lags when i go!

my car lags when i go!
it lags at low rpm's some times but when i floor it it runs perfect
its automatic tho
its a 93 eg.
ive changed sparkplugs, oil, cables, water pump, changed a head gasket and i cant figure it out by the way i do have a faster car tho crx zcsohc vtec
"is it a sensor maybe" i dont get error codes and i got a new cat on it also
