Using a 4 wire O2 sensor with a 1 wire P08 ECU
I'm doing a head swap on my D15B7. I'm putting on a D15B JDM VTEC head using the P08 ECU. As you all know the D15B7 uses a 4 wire O2 sensor whereas the P08 uses the 1 wire O2 sensor. Does anyone know how to wire this up to work correctly so I don't throw CELs? Everybody says get the P28, but I already have the P08. Thanks guys.

p28 reads the 4wire. and the p28 will work better for a Dseries vtec motor setup...thats what its made for but if you dont.
just get a dif o2 sensor....

just plug it in, the B7's wiring for the engine/chassis harness will route the O2 correctly to the ECU.
the only two connections that the P08 needs for the O2 to work are ground and signal. Signal is identical for the P08/P28/P05/P06/P72/etc. The ground is handled in the engine harness.
a single wire O2 uses the exhaust manifold as the ground, that's the only difference.

Wonderful... I definitely learned something new. I've been hearing a thousand different things. That's what I thought at first, but hey... less work the better.
