Default b16 rods in z6

im planning to build a z6 for boost and i got vitara pistons. i want to go with b16 rods but i was just wondering what i have to do to make the rods fit in a z6 block??

list diminsions for each: length, wrist pin dia., crank journal dia., bearing width... then you'll see what needs to be modified to make it work.

it will work but it will be a biaaatch. i know someone who tried this and didnt have the proper rod-crank clearance and one of the rods snapped and shot through the block.

It will work if you mill down the big end, make a bushing for the small end, and don't care that the piston will be 3mm in the hole. Will the availability of $200 forged rods there is absolutely no reason to do it.

The r/s ratio goes down from 1.52 to 1.49 if you use B16 rods. You could use B18a/b rods tho. BTW I just googled this in 30 seconds.
