Default arp bolts on rods

replacing the rod bolts on a b20 rod. any special work needed to do or is it just take the old and put the new.

its pretty simple. I did it with everything still in the block. I just removed and replaced one bolt at a time. so far about 10,000 km's with no problems.

Proper way to replace the rod bolts is to press the old ones out and press the new ones in. Then take the rods to a machine shop and get them resized to make sure they are pefectly round and the correct size.

yes, don't forget to resize the big end of the rod. Could cause serious issues with wear on those bearings if not perfectly round

agreed. the machinest will tighten everything to spec and re-hone the rod. i think i paid 14 dollars a rod
